In the 1926 Collection, we fill it exclusively with 100% certified white goose down, carefully selected for exceptional resilience and natural thermoregulating properties. One chamber, no dividers, no additives. The outer fabric is a soft, breathable batiste weave in 100% natural certified cotton.
The 70x80 cm Collection 1926 pillow suits adult bedrooms with beds 160 cm wide or larger, people with broader frames or active sleep patterns, and those who care about how a bedroom looks as much as how it feels. Two large pillows on a wide bed, in crisp cotton pillowcases. A look that needs no further explanation.
With a larger pillow, the choice of height becomes even more consequential. A bigger surface area means a stronger effect on how your head, neck, and shoulders are positioned through the night.
The high-profile goose down pillow 70x80 cm is built for side and back sleepers, particularly those with wider shoulders or a taller build. The extra loft bridges the gap between the head and the mattress, keeping the neck horizontally aligned and eliminating tension in the shoulders. If you sleep on your side and wake up with neck stiffness, or feel your pillow slipping out from under you during the night, this is the profile you need.
The medium-profile goose down pillow 70x80 cm works best for stomach sleepers and combination sleepers who shift between positions throughout the night. The lower fill does not block the natural position of the head, allows easy transitions, and creates a sense of generous size without excessive loft.

Many pillows on the market are labelled down. Most contain a mix: some down, some feather, sometimes synthetic fibre added for volume. Pillows from the 1926 Collection are built on 100% white goose down from Polish ecological farms, exclusively. That is not a marketing claim. It is a choice you can feel.
Goose down has a higher moisture-absorption coefficient than duck down: it draws away humidity more efficiently, creating a better sleep microclimate. It is lighter at the same loft. It retains its resilience for years without clumping or flattening.
The single-chamber construction without internal seams allows the down to move freely, adapting to the shape of your head rather than confining it to a fixed zone.
All our products are made to be restored, not discarded. After years of daily use you can send your pillow back to us: we clean the down, replenish what has been lost, and return it to you in full working order. You keep the same pillow, just renewed. That is something genuinely rare in today's textile market. It is a chargeable service.

What bed size does a 70x80 cm pillow fit? It works best on beds with a mattress width of 160 cm or more, meaning double, queen, and king-size beds. For narrower beds (up to 140 cm), the 50x60 or 50x70 cm size is a better fit.
How do you choose a pillowcase for a 70x80 cm pillow? The pillowcase should match the exact size of the pillow, with no extra allowance that would compress the filling. A breathable cotton sateen or percale pillowcase works best, as it is easy to wash and does not block the natural air circulation inside the down.
Is a 70x80 cm goose down pillow hypoallergenic? Certified goose down undergoes a cleaning and disinfection process that removes most allergens. The tightly woven batiste fabric further limits the penetration of pollen and dust mites.
How much does a 70x80 cm down pillow weigh? Weight depends on the profile: a high-profile pillow is filled with more down than a medium-profile pillow, which results in a higher total product weight.

Construction: in order to keep the down evenly distributed throughout the bedding, our duvets are sewn in a traditional way, tried and tested on several generations of well-rested customers. Each pillow is finished with a white cotton binding tape – called ‘biza’ – which provides a charming, subtle sheen, as well as seals the pillow even further.
Packaging: the pillow comes in a breathable, drawstring cotton bag – it’s perfect for storage. And it’s going to prove a handy gift-wrap, too!
