The 50x75 cm down and feather pillow from the Classic collection is filled with a blend of goose down and harvested feather. Harvested feather, meaning feather hand-stripped from the quill, adds resilience to the pillow. The outer fabric carries the OEKO-TEX® Standard 100 certificate. This is cotton free from harmful substances, safe for direct contact with skin. The right proportions of this blend have been refined over the years: as much softness from the down as needed, as much resistance from the feather as serves the neck.

The Classic 50x75 cm pillow is heavier than the down-only variants of Collection 1926 or Ewa. This is intentional, as some Clients are looking for exactly that: a pillow that has presence, that fills the pillowcase to the edges and sits on the bed with character.

Medium or high variant in the Classic collection?

The medium variant is the choice for those who prefer a lower, flatter head position. An ideal pillow for stomach and back sleeping.

The high variant is a full, dense down and feather pillow for side sleepers (but also suitable for back sleepers or those who change position). More material, more resistance, clear neck and shoulder support. Often chosen by people who previously used orthopedic pillows and want to return to a natural, breathable filling.

Filling: 80% plucked feathers and 20% white down – both sourced from Greater Poland geese – with a fill power of 700 CUIN

Construction: A single-chamber pillow. Each pillow is finished with a white cotton binding tape – called ‘biza’ – which provides a charming, subtle sheen, as well as seals the pillow even further.

Packaging: The pillow comes in a breathable, drawstring cotton bag – it’s perfect for storage. And it’s going to prove a handy gift-wrap, too!
