The summer down duvet is crafted by hand in our manufactory with the utmost care – from the careful selection of materials to hand finishing.
We fill it with the purest Polish goose down (750 CUIN), which is valued worldwide for its loft and exceptional lightness. Based on our experience, we have balanced the appropriate amount of down for the conditions in the bedroom during summer. This duvet provides excellent temperature regulation – it wraps you in pleasant warmth while allowing your skin to breathe and minimizing the risk of overheating on hot nights. It will also be an ideal covering for clients who enjoy a refreshing feeling year-round, as well as for women going through menopausal transitions.
The duvet cover is made of 100% breathable cotton with a silky smooth surface and a strong weave.
The cassette construction of the duvet ensures its extraordinary durability and reliability. To keep the down evenly distributed throughout the bedding, our duvets are sewn using traditional methods, tried and tested by generations of satisfied customers. The duvet features a cassette design, which means square stitching that not only prevents the down from shifting but also looks beautiful (we like to say it resembles a bar of Swiss milk chocolate). In the seam areas, inside the duvet, a cotton tape is run between the two fabrics, sealing and reinforcing the seam, further extending the duvet's durability.
To celebrate the 100th anniversary of our manufactory, we have created a unique collection of down duvets and pillows, Ewa Premium Heritage. The summer down duvet 200x200 cm from the Ewa Premium Heritage collection is a synonym of luxury, the craftsmanship of human hands, and solid construction.
The name of the collection is a tribute to a representative of the second generation of the owner's family – to the strong, independent woman that Ewa Mielcarek, née Daierling, was. She worked professionally almost until the end of her life. She created a warm home for her three daughters and was an engaged "up-to-date with changes and trends" grandmother for her seven grandchildren. She was a woman in whose company everyone felt important. Strong and warm – a guardian of the home hearth that never goes out.

Filling: the highest quality, ecologically-sourced, 100% white goose down from the Greater Poland region, with a fill power of 750 CUIN.
Filling weight: 200x200 cm – 650 g
Construction: Baffle-box with reinforced cotton sealing tape. Edges are double-stitched and finished with a decorative 12mm natural trim for extra durability and insulation. The cassette box construction in combination with laborious pre-war sewing techniques ensures it is exceptionally durable and reliable for many, many years.
Packaging: The duvet comes in a reusable, suitcase-like cotton case that ensures your duvets and pillows are stored in perfect conditions. And it’s going to prove a handy gift-wrap, too! We designed the cases so that the duvets and pillows can breathe and take up as little space as possible when stored in your wardrobe. Please bear in mind that our products and the packaging are entirely plastic-free.

Order fulfilment time: We don't have long production lines. Our down duvets and pillows are made to order. Maximum fulfilment time is 7 working days from the date of placing an order, however we always do our best to make sure that you receive your order earlier.

Many years ago(+30) we bought a duvet in Belgium on a fair. We had it for many, many years until the pockets on the side got to thin of grabbing them to put over our shoulders. I always kept the flyer. I reached out several times but the company in Belgium didn’t exist any more i guess. We bought other duvets( several) but they were never to our satisfaction. Then I found Emkap1926 on facebook and online! I got in touch with Joanna and I ordered 2 duvets Ewa in special sizes and with extra filling on the edges( even for free! She said) Yesterday they arrived! Carefully packed in white linnen bags with golden letters on them. They were exactly the quality I remembered from our first duvet only better. 💯 % down.. before is was 90% . Our first night was as if we slept under the clouds ☁️ so nice, warm and light. We will enjoy these duvets for the many many years to come! I can only recommend these quality duvets to everyone, you won’t be disappointed and you’ll save money because you don’t have to try as many duvets as we did. I will give all the others away now. Fantastyczna kołdra! Idealna jeśli chodzi o ciężkość - daje uczucie "przykrycia", którego potrzebuję by zasnąć, ale jednocześnie jest zaskakująco lekka. Mamy za sobą sezon zimowy i jest wystarczająco ciepła. Myślę, że spędzimy ze sobą wiele lat wypełnionych snem :) Dziękuję!
JuliaDo tej pory przez około 20 lat spaliśmy pod kolorami wełnianymi. Ponieważ po czyszczeniu wełna różnie się zachowuje postanowiliśmy zmienić te pościel na puchową. Szukając najlepszego produktu przeglądaliśmy oferty w internecie. Najbardziej przemawiająca była firma Emkap1926 polecona przez naszą córkę. Zdecydowaliśmy się na kołdrę „Maria” oraz poduszki uszyte pod wymiar i jaśki. Kontakt z Panią Joasią okazał się bezcenny - otrzymaliśmy wszystkie informacje dotyczące puchu, jego walorów, użytkowania oraz sposobu produkcji. Przesyłka dotarła błyskawicznie, estetycznie zapakowana. Każdy produkt w oddzielnym dedykowanym lnianym pokrowcu z logo firmy. Został również załączony list z podziękowaniami za zamówienie oraz zaufanie. Pościel wyglada imponująco! Tkanina powlekająca puch jest śnieżno biała, bardzo miła w dotyku i delikatna. Śpimy dopiero 4 noc i jesteśmy bardzo zadowoleni z tej decyzji. Śpimy smacznie i dobrze. Dziękujemy!
