The edges are finished with a 12mm decorative cotton piping, providing additional structure and sealing the duvet.

Every duvet comes in a breathable storage bag, designed to maintain the ideal conditions for down. Compact and convenient, it fits easily in any wardrobe or under-bed storage space.

These collections differ in terms of fabric casing, known as the inlet, and the loft of the down.

How Much Do 140x200 Goose Down Duvets Cost?

The price of goose down duvets ranges from 600 PLN to well over 4000 PLN. Several factors influence the price, and it's worth considering the most important ones before making a purchase:

• Down fill percentage – Check whether the duvet is filled with 100% down or a blend of down and feathers. Many manufacturers advertise their products as "90% down and 10% fine feathers," but even the finest feathers have inferior thermal insulation and do not provide the same level of warmth and comfort.
• Down origin – Is the down goose or duck down? (This matters because goose down is superior in quality.) Where in Poland is it sourced from?
• Loft and down cluster size – A high-quality down duvet starts at 650 CUIN loft, and the larger the down clusters, the better the insulation and durability.
• Duvet construction – Traditional craftsmanship ensures longevity. Look for duvets with reinforced cotton edging tape sewn into all seams for durability.
• Fabric casing (inlet) – Is the fabric down-proof, strong, yet soft and delicate to the touch?
• After-sales service – Does the store or manufacturer provide post-purchase support? What happens if your child or pet damages the duvet? Will the company repair it? Will they clean and refresh the down after years of use? At Emkap, we offer all these services to our customers.
• Storage case – Many manufacturers sell duvets in bags with plastic windows, but down products should never be stored in non-breathable materials. Down needs to breathe. Our duvets come in breathable cotton storage bags to maintain their quality over time.
