The duvet is 100% filled with the highest-quality, white goose down from the Greater Poland region – the best commercially available down in Poland. It is characterized by exceptional purity and fill power (800 CUIN). The highest quality goose down is wrapped by sensationally pleasant, soft, and airy batiste fabric..
The cassette box construction in combination with laborious pre-war sewing techniques ensures it is exceptionally durable and reliable for many, many years.
The duvet is delivered in a reusable, suitcase-like cotton case that ensures your duvets and pillows are stored in perfect conditions. And it’s going to prove a handy gift-wrap, too! We designed the cases so that the duvets and pillows can breathe and take up as little space as possible when stored in your wardrobe. Please bear in mind that our products and the packaging are entirely plastic-free.

Construction: Baffle-box with reinforced cotton sealing tape. At the edges, the duvet is sewn with a double stitch and finished with a 12 mm wide decorative tape – called ‘biza’ – which seals the product even further.

Polish goose down is a world-class natural filling material. It’s light, soft, and characterized by a high fill power, providing the best air circulation, thermal insulation, sleep comfort, while remaining a true delight to touch.
Top quality and a high fill power of the down we use for our duvets enable us to reduce the amount necessary to ensure the appropriate level of thermal insulation. This, in turn, guarantees our duvets are light and let you feel warm and cosy without feeling weighed down when wrapped in them. Our down received a score of 700 on the international CUIN scale, which means it’s one of the leaders among upmarket sleep products.

It took me a long time to write this review. How the Emkap quilt saved our trip last May. The quilt had been travelling with me in the boot of my car for some time, and it was travelling because I was redecorating at home, had to buy new bedding etc. Days passed, May arrived, the long-awaited spring ‘burst’. The whole of Poland went on a May holiday. So did we. We went a little later, because we had a longer decision-making process. However, before we could leave, our car broke down in the so-called meantime. So, what to do with the quilt? Fortunately, another car appeared on the horizon, this time a replacement car, and the quilt took up temporary residence in the boot again. Ufff.... Problem solved. Already on the first night of our stay at the guesthouse, it turned out that this ‘boot’ passenger is not a problem at all, quite the contrary. He was the one who saved our frozen bodies in the crisp Masurian spring. But let's take it one step at a time.
We arrived at the place late, classically forgetting to warn the owners, as well as the fact that we would like to eat something. It was 9 p.m., the wonderful Mrs Basia prepared us a delicious dinner made at express pace. Tired from the long journey, grateful for the help we had been given, we went to our room and there...the air was so thick with freezing ‘celts’ that you can't cut anything with a knife because it will break it. We thought to ourselves, OK, this is a crisp Masurian spring, this is how it should be. After all, it is well known that frost preserves both health and beauty. I was particularly keen on the latter, so without a murmur I politely went to bed. After about an hour I was woken up by a sharp headache. I touched my forehead, it was icy and I was cold in general.I didn't want to make a fuss because the owners had been asleep for a long time. But how do I get out of this situation with a warm face of my own? I was rescued by my beloved duvet from the boot. Apparently, it was its destiny to reveal its wonderful thermal properties under these slightly dramatic natural circumstances. Driven by this destiny, we quickly swapped quilts and, with hope mixed with panic in my case, went to sleep again.
After a while, we started to feel warm, after the next one it was wrapping warmly and finally I fell asleep covered up to the tip of my nose in a warm blissful sleep. The duvet warmed my sinuses, soothed my nerves and saved our entire holiday. Upon my return, I immediately found it its rightful place in the house. In the most important place in the house, in the bedroom on our bed. I will be coming back here.
